Me and Lexi backstage

I took the train from Amsterdam to Berlin which was a 7 hour train trip which was really boring. On top of that i had so much luggage, i wanted to cry. So i arrived atfter 11pm after a full day's travel and jumped into a cab, off to Kreuzberg. I was invited to stay with the super talented La La Vox: illustrator and one of the organisers of Dr Sketchy's in Berlin. I stayed at her beautiful apartment in Kreuzberg and just had such a great time. I loved the staircase in the apartment building and took this shot of it:

Berlin is fast becoming one of my new favorite cities. There was a cute and cheap cafe close to La La's place and all sorts of antique shops and interesting arty cafes in the area. I loved discovering in Berlin, even though it's not the prettiest citry, there is always something interesting around every corner. Lexi Sexx joined me for Dr Sketchy's 'Dark Carnival' session and the drawings and artwork was amazing.I  hope to post some soon. This was my first Dr Sketchy's ever and i was a bit nervous. But it all went fine as its's very relaxed and we were surrounded by great people. I did some poses with Lexi and some by myself. For the last pose i went nude, well, i had some purple velvet to cover the bits but it felt quite liberating to 'almost bare all'. La La made a wonderful illustration of me and Lexi (which Lexi nicked):

Lexi and i spent some time together and went on a little sightseeing trip. I love hanging out with other artists and getting to know them, see their work and learn from them.We also performed at Fish & Whips and i sang one of my favorite songs ever which i hope to record at some point.

Today i filmed myself and wanted to reshoot a video i did for 'The Face' some time ago. 
Insanity, Fear and Illusions of Grandeur..
Mr Pustra pays homage to Silent films such as Nosferatu and the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, actress Gloria Swanson and Klaus Nomi. Enjoy!
